Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Department: Engineering / Hardware Development – Mechanical Design
Location: Neufahrn bei Freising, Germany
Start: As soon as possible

Your Responsibilities

  • Independently design and create all design and development documentation for components, assemblies, prototypes and rack systems using CAD tools
  • Create production documents, bills of materials, material master data and all documents required for smooth order processing
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements such as shock resistance, temperature, maintainability and relevant quality standards
  • Create and maintain material master data in Business Central
  • Clarify technical details and coordinate internally and externally

Your Profile

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or further qualification as a state-certified mechanical engineering technician, or a comparable qualification
  • Strong experience with 3D CAD applications, preferably Autodesk Inventor
  • Good practical knowledge of PDM systems (Autodesk Inventor/Vault, Dynamics 365 Business Central) and MS Office is desirable
  • Independent, structured and target-oriented working style combined with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
